The only Toyota operation currently active in the V8 Thunder Championship Series, Joe's Gibbons Racing aims to be a premier player in fighting for race wins, stage wins, and the eventual goal of a championship.

Joe's Gibbons Racing will initially be formed of the #11 FedEx Express Camry of driver Jack Hulatt, hoping to expand into other sponsorship opportunities in the future and expanding into more entries in the field.

Joe's Gibbons Racing will be making it's debut at Atlanta on the 1st of March after extensive pre-season testing in which the rookie driver has become adjusted to his new car.

The team is always looking to expand into more team operations, and of course for partnerships and alliances for other teams in the series.

More news to follow as the season progresses

RACE REPORT: Atlanta

The #11 FedEx Camry was unfortunately caught up in a wreck on lap 56 at Atlanta Motor Speedway this Thursday, being sent into the wall after the rear stepped out and the car slid round.

The car performed reasonably well for a first outing, being able to put in consistent - if not fast - laps around the track, even being able to overtake a few times - wow!

After the race, driver Jack Hulatt said "I'm dissapointed with out performance today. I feel like we had a consistent car, and it's a real shame we got caught up in that wreck that ended up ending our race. I felt the car was stable and consistent, and felt we had a good shot of finishing the race in a decent position if we were able to stay out of trouble. However, this is not the way the race ended, but there is no point in dwelling over it. On to Phoenix for our next race!"

The #11 FedEx Camry ended up coming home in 17th place after wrecking on lap 56. Joe's Gibbons Racing thanks it's opponents for good hard racing, and apologises for any accidents caused - first race, after all.

See you in Phoenix!
