After almost six and a half years of racing here at V8Thunder, Team Ecosse regret to announce that they are withdrawing from V8Thunder. Lack of interest in oval-racing amongst the team's active members has meant that the team has not been as committed to this league as it once was. With future attendance looking unlikely, it was an easy decision to make.
The team started at V8Thunder in January 2005, with Alan Strang and Scott Dryden competing in the Lites series. Things soon progressed - the team grew in size and began competing in the other V8Thunder series. Although the team was always about respectful racing more than success, it was always nice to win the odd title - in all, two driver, two rookie and six team titles.
