During this past week I updated the Revamped Reloaded 2010 Daytona track to 2011 spec as best I could based on the limited photo's and tv coverage available.
After a conversation with Yosh I decided to create two versions of the track
just in case...Daytona Reloaded 2011 OfflineThis is the version to use offline when racing the AI, use the fast setup to get the best effect. The track is set to run without restrictor plate, but because of the setup, you are unlikely to get over 207mph in the draft (Approx 190mph alone) - this is roughly the speeds the cars are running this week in the "two car tango".
The track also includes setup and track.ini files for running with the restrictor plate, the track grip is identical to the Revamped Reloaded 2010 track.
Daytona Reloaded 2011This is primarily for online use, it uses restrictor plates and the DaytonaTR car/grip/wear settings which are well known to produce excellent online races at Daytona, sure a few of us are familiar with that version of the track. This was done just in case it's decided to run on a 2011 spec track on the 24th and no other version is available with the correct material settings, it is not my decision as to whether this track will be used, but if you like it, positive feedback would be appreciated.
What's updated:Updated track & grass textures
Removed all the bumps
Reconfigured pit entry and exit to 2011 layout
Reconfigured pit exit to 2011 rules - you can blend BEFORE turn 1
Corrected all population switch errors present in original track
Fixed the paddock area.
Fixed various other problems.
Added 3D Crowd
These tracks are standalone versions, you don't need the Revamped Shared Folder update to run them.

Notes:
The original Revamped grandstands were build with no LOD's in them so they were quiet a hit on framerate, so I replaced them with a hybrid model which had the original Papyrus grandstands mixed in with the newer parts added by Revamped, on max graphics settings there is no noticeable difference, but on medium settings the textures are different on the two parts (Papyrus/Revamped) I might fix that at a later date if the models can be slipped into the 2011 Revamped tracks. Anyway using my hybrid grandstand models gained 20% fps, a normal lot of 3D Crowd usually sucks 20-25% so it's possible you will only see a small reduction in fps when using the 3D Crowd, it depends on your machine spec.
I also fixed the drawing issues for the village at turn 3, but by doing this also introduced a weird side effect that can be seen in some replay angles where the sky can be seen mixing in with the models, I also forgot to include a fix for this (to revert back to the old models setup), so if this is annoying and you want the files, PM me, as the track is an unofficial hack job I'll probably never touch the zip files again.
