The Hague - This weekend we have spoken to Gino Martens and he had some things to say about the new season: "Well, I can't give too much information about the new season yet, but I can tell some things about the new sponsorships." According to Gino Martens, a couple of sponsorship rotations has been taking place. "Rabobank announced that they give up their First Sponsor position. Robeco, Second Sponsor at the moment, will take this place the coming season. Rabobank and Robeco have a tight relationship, and Robeco seemed more interested in this place than Rabobank did, so we all agreed on this decision."
The most surprising rotation, however, is the one of Betatools as a new sponsor for this season. "We've had many technical issues the last season, and with this new deal we hope that that's not going to happen anymore. Betatools can provide us more technical quality when it comes down on fixing our car and installings car parts."

Also, rumours said Ahold and Albert Heijn wanted to leave the sponsorsquad, but Martens denies these rumours: "We had some issues about contracts, but Ahold and Albert Heijn will, as well as Aegon, Nationale Nederlanden and Nijenrode Business University, at least stay for another season. We can also announce that we have almost finished the final negotiations with War Child, Radio 538, Siemens, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Ford and Spyker about longterm deals."

About next seasons races Martens only wanted to say the following: "We had a crap season last season, and we want to improve that next season. Therefore, we leave the Lites Series and focus ourselves on the Trucks Series to, eventually, reach Trophy/Inters."

And also a new crew chief came to the Gino Martens team. Eric Baltus, also full time manager pension providers of Robeco, has decided to lead the pitcrew during the Trucks races. "I like motorsports, and so Gino Martens asked me to join him as a crew chief. Before, he had to lead the team himself. We really hope to do well this season, and we are looking forward to a new season with a lot of fun and good results."

The Truck Sponsor Team for coming season will be the following:
Betatools, Robeco, Goodyear, Spyker and Ford.

Silverstone, England - Gino Martens testing his new Duff Beer Car at Silverstone. "This car will only be used during the Duff Beer Cup, a special movie will be made of that league for Robeco that's why."
