vMaxSR takes the opportunity to strengthen the team following some months of decreased involvement by adding former WWR driver Joonas Puhakka. The Finn who just recently left the team turning independent has been showing a good pace out on the track claiming a number of wins. The team looks forward to build for the future bringing the squad back up to the top, given his own set of goals for next season vMaxSR are convinced it is a solid step in the right direction.

During a test on Las Vegas Motor Speedway "Jiipee" was able to take a new truck chassis for a drive around the 1.5 mile track. Throughout the day he did not only get a glimpse of what is to come but also a chance to lay hands on some of the best tools and data the team has to offer.

Not sour grapes Joonas but vMax are the reason for the low grids that their leader perennially moans about. Hence the dig. Glass houses...stones.

Is this effective from tonight or next season please?

@ Joonas, you can continue as Independent but your results will appear in the statistics for vMaxSR as you have no teamie. Good luck.

Well in all fairness Steve whether me or some other folks from the team would race, it wouldn't change the grids much compared to earlier seasons. There has been no major changes made to the series and we function pretty much like we did a few years back, +/- shorter seasons and some fundamental rules. But I'm not up to debate that here :wink:
