Rough start for #49 team.
Bristol, TN -- After three races the #49 Trust Bavaria Chevrolet has still not seen the chequered flag. Being victim in a 3 car scramble at Daytona, followed by missing Phoenix caused by financial troubles, Greven hoped to turn the tide at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

"sadly the camshaft gave up after 25 laps", Greven explained. We had a very good car, worked all day and night to get the car ready for the final practice and qualify this thing.

A pity but we have to move on.

Brighter future ahead.
Bristol, TN -- Two weeks after being forced to skip the Phoenix race, EGIR found a second main sponsor to ensure it can participate for the full season.

New sponsor.
Heijmans N.V. is a listed company that combines operations in property development, residential building, non-residential building, installation engineering and infrastructure.

Another disappointing weekend for EGIR.
Fontana, Ca -- After a good result and a new sponsor, Greven hoped to follow this with a good points finish but the race ended with an another DNF.

A small contact with #78 resulted in touching the wall. "The spotter said it looked minor, but the rear suspension was too much damaged and i spun again in T4." Greven responded.

Greven is now 21st in the standings, 84 points behind and ran only 372 laps out of 760.

Fighting back after missing last weeks race.
Fort Worth, Tx -- Missing the race at Martinsville was a huge blow for EGIR, but the Texas result last night turned the #49 stall into a party tent.

"Finishing third was not something we expected", Greven replied, "But we kept our heads cool and Heins [Mulder] call at our last stop did the rest.

Hard season continues...
Kansas, Ka -- After Greven got caught in a crash he had to bring the car to the garage.

"The rear end, the trackbar and the RF suspension was damaged. So we decided to leave the car in the garage. It would be too much an effort for the team to get the car on the track again." Mulder replied after the race.

A huge blow for Grevens position in the standings, because he finished only twice this season. Greven has more concerns: "We also have to look at the grip problems right after the restarts. The car was undriveable the first three laps after every restart."

Engine woes blocks a good result...

A misfiring engine caused Greven to enter the pits a few laps before the finish while being 9th.

Greven battling through hard season...
Indianapolis, IN--

Despite a 3rd place at Texas, this season is proving to be the hardest season the #49 team has run in their history. 21 Races, 6 checkers, 7 prov's and 8 DNF's are the hard numbers so far.
Never was Indianapolis the track to turn the season around. From the moment the car was unloaded out of the trailer Greven was struggling on the track.
"Turn 4 in particular." Greven looks back on the Thursday afternoon practice. The car had such a extreme behaviour that we never had enough control over the car. Sadly right before the end of the practice the engine died. And we had not enough time to get the car to qualification.
