Following its transition into Trucks, The Fastlane Racing is proud to announce that Wonka Nerds will be its primary sponsor for the current season and all Trucks will be run in this livery.

Neither Erwin Greven nor Paul Taylor were able to race at Michigan, however Kris Vickers flew The Fastlane flag in the #147 car and finished well up in the standings his first Trucks race.

All team members will be present at the next round.

Crew chief #49 Chevrolet delighted after Michigan.

Talladega Alabama. --Finishing 5th and 4th in the first race of the Autumn 2008 season at Michigan, the #49 Philips Chevrolet team prove that the unreliability issues are over.
"We were not as fast in qualification as we were last year (2nd and 1st.) But we managed to climb up to the front and stay there the whole race", crew chief Hein Mulder says with a smile. "In the last few weeks we had really the pressure on. Two cars to work on and reliability was the main issue. I mean at one moment the car not even reached the end of the pitlane, so that was embarrassing."

Next stop will be Talladega. "Yes... no sweet memories, when thinking back last season (Major crash with Rebrov and a camshaft problem). But we did very well on superspeedways cause the speed was always there."

Pit boxes are gonna get a bit confusing lol

We could also change our pitcrews. but that would mean that everyone should download our cars again... That is not really an option. So.. the best thing to do is watching your position in qualy.. or turn of the other pitcrews.

yes, the pitcrew has been painted, but they look all the same except the numbers. But replacing those with our own pitcrew doesn't have to be a problem. I will replace the crew with the Lites crew.

Talladega was good although the car failed for no reason at all, all the other races this season have been shit and I get disillusioned very easily.

Sorry to see you go, but I did warn you lites was a walk in the park compared to trucks and you shouldn't set your expectations too high.

Yeah sorry to see another one go :( Easy to have a bad time at a crowded Lime Rock though, a certain amount of luck is required.
