Oh, you open wheelers trying to make it in stocks crack me up.

Crunching left and right while the mangled cages pile up in the infield. :lmao:

Nice crunching :)

2019: a year of goodbyes and new beginnings!

I'm pleased to announce that in 2019 I'll be driving the SRD International #53 car in the European MASCAR Racing Championship! Following a year of hire car driving in 2018, I'll be expanding my stock car programme as an owner driver.

This new adventure will kick off on 6th May at the BHP Performance Show at Lydden Hill Race Circuit, running the full circuit for the MASCAR 10th Anniversary race!

I then have 5 meetings over the summer through to the beginning of November in the SITR Midlands 400 Championship as well as taking part in the PAGE Motorsport British Championship! A guest appearance at Round 3 of The Apex Belting Eastern 400 Championship at Ipswich is also on the cards but not confirmed as of yet

Because of this increased involvement in the MASCAR series, I've had to cut down the number of British Universities Karting Championship meetings I'm taking part in, no commitments have been made. Nonetheless my 2019 racing season will kick off Sunday 7th April at Whilton Mill for the BUKC Graduates Driver's Championship!

I look forward to my progress with you all throughout the year!

Can I bugsie a ticket for Lydden?

I don't think there's any money in the pot to sponsor, infact if V8 was a business it would have gone bankrupt years ago lol, but I've got a few stickers knocking about if I can remember where I put them.

Thank you for your kind words :) I would love a couple of v8 thunder stickers for the B pillar if they're going!

No freebies unfortunately for Lydden unfortunately, but do come if you have a chance! Hoping I'll have the funds to get the car decorated in traditional 53 colours before then xD

@ruben, they're a 2/3 scale race car that weigh 680kg w/ driver and have about 140bph :flag: :flag: :flag:

The first weekend nears! After wrecking out of the 'Dega race, I went to the garage to get a head start on getting my car cleaned up. Was planning on doing the bulk of it this weekend with Alex but I took advantage of the calm to clean the sunshield and stick down my name decal. Can only describe it as a special moment when I was peeling the film off my name, never thought it was something I'd get the chance to do! I'm sure the novelty will soon wear off, the first one is special then it surely becomes a chore!

So I had my second competitive meeting of the season this weekend at Birmingham Wheels Park. It was definitely the most challenging meeting I've had yet. Never managed to get a good rhythm and couldn't find a good balance in the car. Disappointed I wasn't able to keep up with the mid-pack as I have done up to now for the most part, but I did find out nearly everyone was on two new Mr Feel Goods whereas I've got 2-season-old rubber. Need to do some homework and regroup for the next time... Played with some pressure settings and think I was onto something by the final, the car felt more consistent but still very tight overall.

Good to catch up with everyone at the least, a difficult day at the track still beats a good day in the office..! Until next time :flag: :flag: :flag:

wow. this was interesting. Nice to see something like that,

I must admit than driving or car didnt perform to good.

You need some one with experience to help you around setup.

Laps need to be more consistent and maybe more aggressive. You must start spinning to see where is limit ,and where to gain speed.

But its only suggestion.

Now days drivers are starting at age of 4 or 5. they know the filing of car drifting from kart.
