.rpy to .avi help

Actually I'm looking for the best way to capture replays, my PC isn't good enough for proper screencapturing like Fraps or so.
So I figure an rpy to avi tool would be the best way for exporting footage at highest possible quality.
Now I have been trying to find GLP2AVI but can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have it?
Or is there even a better way?

but is this worth getting into? For example I dont know if ccm can be used with it or how.

yes you can use it with ccm, but it's sloooow, and you're limited in capture resolution, I suffered same as you, but to get proper hd I went a different route, it just depends on what you want out of it in the end, I can't be bothered to retype this all so here's a copy of something relevant:

lol never thought of that, but sounds like a good idea.
So audio resync on both sides obviously unless you make a compilation or so, and capturing takes long too.
But I have experimented with gpl2avi a bit the last few hours, and the quality is fine for me, and I think it's quite a usefull tool for me.
My PC is a whole lot crappier though. I'll look into both of this, so thanks for your input.

By the way, that video is quite awesome man, love the cam shakes and ticker and everything, looks like a ton of work.
I think you should actually list it, since it'd be a really cool advertisement for the series.

To make us of CCM + GPL2AVI you need to fine tune the settings and finally you got something that suits your spec.

For starters, you have the both programs running, and you start a recording session from GPL2AVI, starting NR2003. They you hit the hotkeys for recording as you like, but first you need your "custom camera" set with CCM. It utilize the Pit lane cam which you can fly around or fix for sweeping motions or whatever you like. It too has it own hotkeys.

Check my Youtube channel you get some ideas, Ian's vid above is a great example too. I think theres a guide or two out there was well, since it originates from the good old Grand Prix Legends community.

most of the video above was made using the default cams (moved about in the cam file) with inertia manually added in After Effects, CCM produces some strange wobble movement on my system so I try not to use it.
