Turns out, when the wheel goes light during understeer, you're not even at maximum grip yet. I didn't know that. ^^
The corresponding graph and demonstration are at 12:05 and between 18:58 and 20:46.
Not sure if it's applicable to NR2003 because who knows what the sim does with the FFB. Most tracks are front tyre limited anyway, so extracting more out of the fronts wouldn't help much.
