yea well, just gotta look around a bit on youtube maybe or google around, I've lost count of how many different soundpacks are out there lol

here are 3 soundpacks from methylethyl (on the bottom)
http://www.repeatoffenderracing.com/mod ... oads&cid=4

I know I'm using one of them, but can't remember which, it's either '06 or '08
Think I remember not liking the '09a one too much, but might be wrong, been a while since I've changed my sounds

Hi all, does anyone know if you can add additional sounds to the spotter swapper? Thanks :)

Yes and no, depends what you want, if you want to just replace one of the stock messages for another, you can, but the filename, file size and sample length must be identical (otherwise nnor doesn't play them), the easiest way to do this is to open the sample you want to change in audicity, blank the existing track (mute it) and then paste your new sound bit into it, as long as when you save it, it has exactly the same KB size it should work.

If you want to add even more samples, then nope, you can't do that, only I can, and I don't have the inclination, time or samples from Dave to do that presently, but once we get into the main season I do intend to re-write the script from the sound up to include more samples switching at faster rates.

I think the ingame sounds are the best engines sounds, I'm just using interior sounds as exteriors, so I have the cockpit sounds when using roofcam since they sound much better. Spotter I also use ingame again. you could say I have come full circle lol.

Must have sounds though are these late model sounds that were at J.R. modifieds page for download a while back, not sure if that site still exists (link anyone?)
Those were definitely badass and a must-have

Are these the late model sounds you are talking about, Ruben?

Here is another engine sound pack I like to use:
www.nr2k3tracks.com/JR/sound_mnesX_JR-v1.rar

The reason I love it is it has that really nice off-throttle back pressure sound. I wish it had more of a throaty bottom-end to it. Then it would be about perfect, but getting that low chest-rumbling effect in NR2003 seems to be really hard to duplicate for some reason. Check it out and let me know what you think.
