By the way i am painting a new one again. This is more to experiment. The car above is also an experiment.

But when i would achieve the second licence and i would be allowed to race in the trucks series, i would like to have a new truck painted.

At least these names have to be on it.
Fastlane Racing team. (Logo available)
Philips (maybe carsystems or Lighting)
Tylenol (logo and a picture on the hood, link to pic: http://www.3dchem.com/imagesofmolecules ... nophen.jpg )
Hoof
Safety Clean.

Use Bob's template here, it's by far the best...

Actually, hang on... yea hold that thought, I'll ask Bob if he can do a PSP version.
(or maybe easier, you able to convert PSD to PSP Darrell?)

Hi all,

Im confused about the whole painting thing. I have downloaded a template that i wish to modify (#7 monster toyota camry) its in the cup.car format - can i edit this? or do i need a straight photoshop template to work from?

Also, if working within photoshop, what do you do once you've finished it i.e (exporting and importing into the game, ready to upload to the forum)

thanks

The cup.car format wont let you paint anything as thats the car file for the sim itself. You can either download the templates which are in psd or psp formats usually and paint from there or insert the cup.car file into your game then from the opponent manager, export the car paint as a TGA file then open this in photoshop or paintshop pro.

Once your finished, you save the file as a tga file as this will put all the layers into 1 then import this into the game.

If your having trouble, just give me a PM and I'll be happy to paint the car as im assuming youd just be wanting your name on the car
