I consider Pocono somwhat of a NASCAR tradition, so if they lose the second race, they should at least keep one and have that be a 500 miler.
Maybe Pocono should reconfigure or something.
Turn the facility into 0.75 mile long, version of Bristol (pre 07).
Oh my how the cages would collapse.

Or make one end concrete, one end asphalt
Nothing on the schedule would compete with a track like that.

Well, none of the races really enthused me thus far. Phoenix was probably the best.
But that's expected since NASCAR did exactly the wrong thing once again.
There were a lot folks whining about Texas being boring, which I didn't think it was at all.
But now it is.

Man, another winless week for Kyle, so lame.

Time for Richmond to repave, this is getting boring, not to say ridiculous.

Just as predicted by moi about half a year ago. Of course NASCAR didn't pass upon the opportunity to create some artificial drama.

That was quite the exciting cup race at Sonoma. Busch going after Truex for this long, but never really getting there. Too bad though, kinda hoped for Busch to take the win.

Indycar race was also good.

Love how Indycar listens to me. Earlier in the year I told them to ditch Pocono for various reasons, which seemed to have convinced them. Told them to replace it with a decent roadie suggesting Spa or Interlagos, or what they think might be a good one.
Let's see what'll come out of it.
Also told them to equip more cars with onboard cams, because they were losing out on much good crash footage, which also seems to have been done.
I'm so cool 8)

You mean end up in sim racing?
Well, safety wasn't any of my concerns or among the points I brought up. I just always found Pocono to be somewhat of an ill-suited track to run indycars on. It's just so damn boring and pointless.

I used to like oval racing with indycar a lot more in the past, but for these current indycars I'd say the belong on road and street courses.

I just checked the german Ford website and saw they are now offering the new Explorer here as well, though only as a plugin hybrid ST or so.
Now the base model in the US start at 36k US Dollars, but the Explorer they sell here starts at 74.000 Euros, that's around 81k USD.

Who in the right mind pays 74k Euro for a damn Explorer or any f****n car?
f****n SUVs I tell ye. I want a T-Bird!

The world is going crazy!!!!!!!! :wall:

What the hell was the fat Penske guy thinking just pulling down hamlin from behind.
What a lame coward movie, I bet he got his butt kicked for it. :lmao:

Hamlin's impression of Logano lol, it was quite entertaining.

Well, King Kyle did it again
Hamlin's gotta be frustrated. I mean I doubt he would have run down Kyle, but who knows, he might have.
Chance at a shot taken by a piece of tape, that's gotta hurt.

Not that I really care. NASCAR is obviously as good as dead anyway, but looking at this new car they are "developing", I just wonder what they are doing.
Aluminum wheel, significantly larger, lower profile tires, larger brakes, this has to be the final nail, am I right?
Its also just as ugly as COT/Gen6, so what's the point anymore lol
