Apparently....the 'strong rumour' is that Edwards will be in a 3rd Penske car next year

Logano's win at Richmond will not count to playoffs. His car failes post race inspection. http://www.racer.com/nascar/item/140180 ... inspection

Ridiculous, they should give that win to the second placed car and suspend the entire #22 team from the next race or something similar.
No wonder that no one takes NASCAR serious anymore

And I don't think he is last one. Every race there are bunch of cars that fails post race inspections. What will be if NASCAR will start to check all cars after the rcae?

I wonder how susceptible NASCAR is to being sued for not doing what they're claiming to do, which is policing races, the actual task of a sanctioning body.
They're actually committing fraud, if you ask me.
Teams could sue the shit outta NASCAR and rake in millions.

Oh my Taurus. NASCAR can'T go a quarter without a rule change.
Now they add a segment to the coke 600. God forbid there was a long green flag run.
I don't get it. Why do they not get it, that we want long green runs and no artificialy interruptions. We want to see a race develop naturally.

Long run cars are now basically obsolete. During a race I wanna see Kenseth creep from the back to the front. I wanna see who is good enough to stay on the lead lap and I want those who aren't to go down laps and be punished for their lack of performance. It is such a joke.

And now they add the CMS road config to the 2018 schedule. Ridiculous!
I'm really sick of the f****n segment racing sh1t.
NASCAR has gotten so bad, a gap in the market seems to be opening here for another series to take over as the premier stock car racing series. It just too bad the us economy is doing so poorly.

Does anyone know for how many years Monster Energy signed up as title sponsor and how much they pay for it?
Can't find the numbers.

3 and substantially less than Sprint (hence why you see no in-broadcast adverts for Monster products).

You didn't miss much, I think the best race this year was Pocono so far.

Tell ya, I'll never get used to these segmented races.
They're totally unfair, because of how strategies play out in some of these format.
At Sonoma for example it was practically impossible to win all three segments, because those who ran mid pack would pit before the end of the stage and the top 10 would have to pit before the end of the next segment as well, which would put them behind, because of the caution.
I think it was similar at Pocono. If NASCAR cared about fairness they'd find a solution for this.

There's also the fact that caution laps between segments count towards the distance.
I mean, that is so ridiculous.
Last weekend's 400 counted 51 laps under yellow. FIFTY-ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NASCAR's new green initiative I guess. ---> Maximize caution laps to cut down carbondioxide emissions.
