What a great race.. I was yelling at my TV in the closing laps at Montoya to win!! :lol:

Now to reset for recording the next race the 600!! :drive:

Was a nice race, but next year I gotta watch live again.
It's just not the same watching tape delayed.

In deed that was once again a fantastic 500!

…what an outstanding performance from Juan Montoya.
This guy is a racing icon; a real treasure and representative for IndyCar and for his sponsors.
On my way to Italy (the day after the 500) I shortened the long car trip listening to several hours of (prior 500) IMS-radio stuff (ESPN 1070thefan to be exact radio-station-wise :wink:

).
So I stumbled over this Montoya (pre-500) interview which made me crack up at 4.30AM behind the wheel :rofl:

Well, it got even better that day! Believe it or not, Kevin Lee (IndyCar broadcaster and co-host of the radioshow The Talk Of Gasoline Alley on ESPN 1070thefan) took my E-Mail question on the air to ask Indianapolis Speedway historian Donald Davidson!

I’m pretty sure that I’m not even distantly related to Johnny MAIS. His lesser-known birth name is Johann Anton Mais. You can find more of his remarkable life here

I don't but we were planning a 500 (or 250) for the Thursday off week after Kansas, were you planning youyrs for that day?

well that was really unnecessary. 230 was fine to bi in top 9 he drow 231,and some. Well done but. he is not going to drive this year- and that is bad.
